AQH Sugar Doll or “Janey” is one of my favorites, because she is so gentle. Her sire is: Roostin Llama Lena, standing at stud here on the Angel Ranch and her Dam is: AQH Beaus Beauty who was out of our breeding program. Beauty’s mom “Jewels Honeybee” was purchased at the “Sugar Bars” sale in Sheridan Wyoming in 2007, the Great “Sugar Bars” is on her papers. Jewels Honeybee or “Scarlett” as I called her was a big stout bay mare and was SO gentle and smart! She could open any gate on the place! How she did it, I have no clue, but if a gate was open and horses were out…Scarlett was for sure in the bunch! When we crossed her with our reference stallion “Mr Rebel Bonanza (also very tall and Buckskin). We got this “Black Beauty” with her mothers’ disposition and gentleness! One thing about Beauty is she got her mothers height! We figure she was a good 15.2. Roostin is quite a bit shorter than her, but what a cross! Janey is going to be a big, stout, gentle mare ready to do anything you want of her!
This little filly is another one that is ready to go in any direction that you want with her! Conformationally correct and Fancy! Her and AQH Cruzan Barjo could be almost twins with their markings. Clara is a little more shy, but is extremely smart! She is out of our breeding program. Starting with Sire: A Cruzan for Cash” listed under the stallions. Her Dam “Miss Kaddy Angel” was raised here on the ranch. She is out of the reference stallion “Mr Rebel Bonanza. Kaddy or “Missy” as we called her was a beautiful buckskin mare. We lost her this spring, so there will never be another just like Clara!
You must see this filly to really appreciate her! If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a shout out!
This 2-year-old gelding is one of the finest colts we have ever raised, he is conformationally correct and FANCY! He is quick and a quick learner! He wants to please also, in the right setting this guy has the blood and willingness to take you anywhere you want to go, from the show ring, to the Rodeo!
His Sire “A Cruzan for Cash” is standing at Stud here at the ranch. You can read all about him under the Stallions.
His Dam “Flicka Angel” comes out of our breeding program with her mother being “Baby Chicks Bruce” one of our very first brood mares. (Info on her in brood mares.) She came along before we had any stallions, so we bred her to a Stallion Standing at the Bar Three Stables here in Riverton WY. The stallion was: “Bar Jo Twist” or Twister for short. He was a magnificent Black Stallion! Twister earned race and performance Registers of Merit and AQHA points in Heading, heeling, Barrel Racing and halter. He was also half of the 1976 Wyoming State Champion Chariot Racing Team. He was the 1981 Wyoming Quarter Horse Assoc high point barrel racing horse and rodeo winner into his late teens.
This guy is a champion already in my book!
“Maggie” is again one of my Favorites (I have a few). She has always been the first to greet me at feeding time, looking for that treat in my pocket. Her disposition and conformation make her a keeper! Maggie’s Sire is: Roostin Llama Lena (under stallions) and her Dam is: Royalds Lil Dynamite or “Dyna” as we call her.
Dyna was purchased from the Wyoming Quarter Horse Ranch in Thermopolis Wyoming in 2012, at the Annual “Bill Smith Horse Sale”. She is a beautiful Bay Roan mare that we had high hopes for in the show arena. But due to an injury, she has been added to our broodmare band. Dyna has always been a very gentle, friendly mare and Maggie follows in her footsteps. Please note her grandfather’s Royal Diligents bio attached. Its easy to see why Dyna is as gentle as she is.
This little mare will take you in any direction that you want her to go from the Show arena to the Rodeo Arena!
